ABOUT ME

The Past 4 Years have been an amazing experience and I am truly grateful to the community for electing me in 2021. I worked tirelessly as a Councillor with a 100% attendance rating at Council. I actively engage with the community, I listen, learn and Vote on what I believe is in the best interest of all members of the community and the City.

My VISION is a City with a prosperous, vibrant and diverse community working together. A community which encourages investment, drives economic development and strives to enhance quality of life for all.

My AIM is to facilitate transparent, two-way communication between the community and the council. I  will participate in decision making to meet challenges and develop long-term visions and goals that guide our City's future.

My COMMITMENT is to effectively represent the interests of residents. I will connect across the community and with business to better understand needs.  I will be accessible and accountable, while performing my duties with a high level of probity, integrity and care.

My EXPERIENCE is founded in building stronger communities through my work with oganisations such as Rotary (Past President Past Assistant Governor), The Cancer Councils Relay for Life Chair 18/19/20, Director of the Bunbury Cemetery Board, Sea Rescue and many others, organisations that serve to change lives for the better. I have been named Young Citizen of the Year in 2002 and Citizen of the Year in 2018 the only person to have been awarded both in Bunbury's history, Paul Harris Fellow x 3 and Nominee for Young West Australian of the Year.

The past 4 years I have been the run director for Rotary's Dirt n Dust Run, a 5 day mystery charity car run. Over the last 4 years we have raised nearly $400,000 for mental health initiatives. These funds have been used to support a number initiatives, including seed funding for a state wide mental health disaster aid fund to provide funding for mental health services for regional WA post disaster.

I work as a Marriage Celebrant and for a Local Business. My experience as a Funeral Director and in the Funeral industry for nearly 14 years has given me a great understanding of the cycle of life and ingrained the importance of leaving a legacy.

I have completed an Ironman, 3 Marathons and 3 Half Ironman, these events require grit and determination the same passion I will bring to Council. I am a Member of the Bunbury Tri Club, Bunbury Runners Club and a Social Member of the Sailing Club.

I want to continue my commitment to the South West and the best way I can do that is through the Bunbury City Council.
